The March/April issue of wine and lifestyle magazine Spirito diVino has dedicated its cover and lead feature to the Fiftieth Anniversary of Campofiorin
, with a focus on the new “Italian Wine Style” communications campaign.
An icon of Italian style, like many other objects made with passion in Italy in the 1960s, Campofiorin is presented through a campaign that’s rich in Italian symbolism, particularly the deep ruby red colour that is both reminiscent of wine and of haute couture
creations from Valentino; and the “cuts”, similar to those made in fabric styled by Lucio Fontana.
The 2014 vintage concludes the celebrations for the 50th Anniversary of Campofiorin: a wine that was first produced in 1964, and in its contemporary Italian context led the way in “a new category of Veronese wines”, according to Burton Anderson, writing a new chapter in the history of Italian wines in the last fifty years.
