Fresco di Masi
Discover Fresco di Masi, a range of organic wines made with only essential processing from the vineyard to the glass, for an experience of authentic and simple flavours.
Minimising man's intervention in a natural process, to return to the origins of winemaking and search for the essence of wine: this is the idea behind Fresco di Masi. The result? Wines "made as simply as in the past, but with the quality we expect today", lightly processed and moderate in alcohol, characterised by immediate tastes of fresh fruit.
The wines are made from organic grapes harvested during the coolest hours and vinified immediately, with no grape drying and no maturation in wooden casks, just using the wild yeasts that come from the grapes themselves, decanted and not filtered.
There are two wines in the range: Fresco di Masi Rosso Verona IGT, with attractive tastes of fresh fruit, from pomegranates to blackcurrants to the ever-present cherry flavour that is typical of its Veronese origin; and Fresco di Masi Bianco Verona IGT, with tastes of pineapple and citrus fruits, and the delicate fragrance of wild flowers.
Packaging is 100% sustainable: the bottle is transparent and made to an exclusive Masi design, to weigh 30% less than those of similarly positioned products, while the packaging itself is made of recycled and recyclable materials. The capsule, developed in collaboration with Crealis, features a new generation material: composed of 60% recycled polyethylene, it guarantees an 18% reduction in the overall carbon footprint compared to traditional poly-laminate.
The label, modern and in pop colours, reinterprets the original design source for Masi's iconic wines.
